At the edge, IT has to adapt to the environment rather than the environment adapting to the IT system. The addition of IT equipment changes the heat profile of the environment, impacting both the comfort of workers and the performance of critical IT systems. In most cases, comfort cooling systems aren’t enough.
In this webinar, we’ll discuss why most edge sites require dedicated cooling and how to manage heat at the edge. The webinar will also cover the following topics:
- Three deployment scenarios at the edge, including a closed room, an open office environment, and a manufacturing plant or shop floor
- The challenges and cooling options in each scenario
- How to gain visibility at the edge
