2020-10-12 RELEASE

1. Enhanced the security of the firmware update procedure by using encrypted firmware files. This prevents the use of potentially non-authentic firmware.
2. Improved the [Max charge curr] setting to only show valid options for the installed UPS/EBC configuration.
3. Added the ability to change the LCD settings menu and maintenance menu passwords via the CLI.
4. Added the ability to execute a delayed shutdown from 0-999 seconds via the CLI.
5. Added Czech language option to the LCD.
6. Improved the fan performance by making the speed more stable and smoothing the transition between speeds.
7. Added the DSP firmware kernal version number to the LCD About tab.
8. Improved the displayed load and runtime sensitivity on light loads down from 5% to 2% load, on the 5K through 20K models. (GXT5-5000MV, GXT5-6000MV, GXT5-8000MV, GXT5-10KMV)
9. Changed the setting name of [Temperature type] to [Temperature unit].
10. Decreased the output rating of the GXT5-6000MV when using a L14-30 corded optional POD from 5100W to 5000W to give margin on 30A input breaker.
11. Changed the default temperature display from C to F for HV, MV, and LV models.

1. Increased the power rating of the GXT5-5000MVRT4UXLN from 4500W to 5000W and decreased the power rating of the GXT5-6000MVRT4UXLN from 5400W to 5100W when used with an optional POD with a L14-30 input cord (PD5-001 to PD5-006).
2. Changed the user setting and factory default value of [Guaranteed Shutdown] to "disabled" to reflect the use-case of the majority of customers. 
3. Changed the user setting and factory default value of [Battery Periodic Test] to "enabled" to allow automatic battery self checks.  The default interval for battery self checks is 8 weeks, but this can be changed in the settings menu.
4. Improved the behavior of [Any Mode Shutdown] by checking the state of the dry contacts during power up after a utility outage and return.  If the contacts are cleared during the outage, the UPS will now power back on automatically when the utility returns.
5. Improved the complete local UPS shutdown procedure by adding step-by-step instructions to the LCD when a full shutdown is initiated.
6. Added a warning message to the RDU101 web interface showing when the UPS detects a disconnected external battery cabinet. (RDU101 v1.4 required.)
7. Added support for Vertiv's new Power Assist tool.
8. Improved the responsiveness of the status updates reported through the USB HID / Windows OS.
9. Added ability to switch the temperature readings from C to F.
10. Added Italian language to the LCD.
11. Improved the LCD's flow screen on the GXT5-MV units to show L1 and L2 separately.
12. Changed the name of the setting [Battery Replacement Time] to [Battery Last Replaced] and updated the default time from 2017-12-14:00:00:00 to the date/time of production.
13. Corrected the issue where "unavailable" was being displayed in the [Battery Temperature] field in the RDU101 web interface.
14. Added legacy GXT4 datapoints to the RDU101 interface: BatteryCharger, BatteryFloatVoltage,  DeviceManufactureDate.  (RDU101 v1.4 required.)

1. Updated the factory default setting for battery charging temperature compensation [temp compensation] from disable to enabled.  
Note: This does not change the user setting, just the factory default setting."
2. Improved the DSP firmware update method so that EPO connector does not have to be pulled out during update.
3. Improved the firmware update method by eliminating the connected EBC notification after each update.
4. Improved the firmware update method by removing the [UPS has no output]" alarm that the user had to clear after each update.
5. Improved the battery aging calculations by setting the default initial battery running time to 0 days after full-charge at factory.
6. Increased the maximum number of possible connected external temperature sensors to 40.
7. Updated the RDU101 interface to report the UPS ambient temperature.
8. Added to the RDU101 interface the reporting of the UPS alarm [Battery Not Qualified].
9. Added to the command line interface reporting of the number of external battery cabinets.
10. Added to the command line interface ability to set a static IP address on the RDU101 interface.
11. Updated the command line interface so the format of the discharge time is consistent with the LCD; XX hr XX min.
12. Added support for YDN23 communications protocol.
